So I've been scouring the interweb lately for great web-comics, and I've stumbled upon quite a few that I enjoy immensely. Check them out using my updated links page!

Also, I've been playing shows in Chicago with a band called The Assembly for awhile now, and we finally have something for me to link to so you can hear some of our tunes! Check out myspace.com/theassemblyband for the band's music, pics, and bio. Start your own myspace page and become a friend of the band!

If I ever had any doubt about the power of the internet, they have been squelched. Check out the this french comic site that links to "Plume & Peck" (just type "plume" in the search window to find my comic)! The small description literally translates as, "Gags with two small birds which are posed many questions."

Hey Everyone!

Sorry it's been so long since the last comic. The exciting news is that I bought a new scanner that doesn't clunk out on me all the time. So maybe that will motivate me to get these out more frequently!

Alright, real quick...there are a couple new pages on the site! Check out the cast of "Plume & Peck", and also take a look at a couple online comic sites (filled with links to comic veterans as well as comic hopefuls such as myself!). More will eventually be added to both pages as the site and strip progress.

I'll be taking a small break from the usual Plume & Peck schedule to work my new portfolio, market the strip, and self-publish my very first book! I'm not sure how long this "break" will last, but hopefully no more than a month.

After I get some of this stuff done, I'll start up again with some brand new daily strips for you (I promise)! For now, consider this break the end of "Plume & Peck" Season I. And like all season breaks, I'll cycle through some re-runs in the process.

Thanks again, and I'll have some new material for you soon!

I'm not one to explain a particular strip of mine too often. I usually like to have them speak for themselves. The "practicals" Sunday strip has, however, compelled me to at least make a side note.

The selective people that read this strip sometimes ask me whether I pattern one of the characters after myself. I think a little bit of me shows itself in every character in the strip, and I usually take that "little bit" and exaggerate it to the point where it's (hopefully) entertaining. In addition, sometimes I create attributes in a character that I wish I had more of. The opposite applies as well.

Peck is a blunt character who's never afraid to express his opinion. Plume is there to keep him grounded once in awhile. So you as a reader may ask (if you're so inclined), "Is Nathan as skewed in his opinion as Peck is?" The answer to that lies somewhere in the grey bar between the two middle panels. Keep readin'!

Well, it's a little bit late for this but...Happy New Year!!! Now that the holidays are over, I should be rolling out new material at a higher frequency again. Like I mentioned before, I'll continue to work on some more Sundays for awhile before shopping the strip around. As always, thanks for reading and keep the comments and suggestions coming.

I've added a couple more strips to the 'gems' page. I'll try to update this more often from here on out. This time it's classic Bill Watterson. Enjoy!!
